What are they?
- An opportunity for your delegates to practice the skills and techniques they need to succeed in a realistic and challenging business situation.
- A team of business actors, with a complex brief, create a bespoke, and sophisticated simulation of a business environment.
- Course participants practice and learn with no risk involved.
How do they work?
- Business actors' roles are carefully researched and constructed to link in with other simulated characters, for example, to make up the management team of a fictional company.
- The simulation can be played out in 'real time' over the session (from half a day to two days).
- Participants can meet with characters numerous times over the session and these meetings can be video-taped for later analysis.
- Delegates later receive constructive feedback from the actors and trainers and can review video evidence to support learning.
What they offer the opportunity to practise:
- 'Gaining entry' and building relationships with clients.
- Gathering information using questioning and listening skills
- Working as a team to achieve objectives.
- Facilitating meetings with a number of clients.
- Analysing problems and identifying opportunities for the company.
- Exploring the impact of relationships between characters.
- Identifying opportunities to add value or sell new services.
- Presenting reports back to senior clients or other team members.
- The use of different styles and approaches in a safe environment.
